Conversion is also influenced by the quality of your traffic. Other key levers include digital wallets, shipping transparency and tracking, customer support, reviews, high-quality product images, clear features and benefits, and site speed (mostly handled by Shopify).
Improving conversion takes consistent effort. Focus on small, incremental changes - they may seem minor at first, but over time they add up and can give you a strong, sustainable conversion rate.
You want to think of yourself as a salesperson - like you were dealing with a customer face to face. Always think: what does this person need to hear and know to buy this thing?

To capitalise on this, focus on growing your email list with strong lead magnets, such as a free shipping coupon on the first order or a free gift. These prospects are warm, and you can build immense goodwill by sending valuable, well - crafted emails.
Subscriptions are particularly effective. Use automated emails for non-buyers and retarget them with Google and Meta Ads.
Focus on post-purchase retention by building a strong email journey. Offer loyalty rewards and personalise your communication. It is five times cheaper to sell to an existing customer than to acquire a new one.
Remember, some products naturally support repeat customers - supplements, for example. On the other hand, certain products, like a fridge, are only purchased once every ten years.
